What does Affordability Check mean?

Affordability checks are there to make sure that you stay in control of your gambling activity and never spend more than you can afford! For this purpose, Lycalotto may at times need to ask you for further information to verify your source of income, to ensure you are comfortable and can afford your deposits/spends and understand how you fund your account.

What do I need to provide Lycalotto to verify my affordability?

If Lycalotto requires you to verify your affordability, please provide as much evidence as possible to show that you have sufficient funds and incomes to support your gambling activity. We need to ensure you are comfortable and can afford your deposits/spends and understand how you fund your account. So, when you are requested to verify your affordability, we encourage you to submit as much evidence as possible to explain your source of income and/or wealth.

What happens if I do not provide the requested information to Lycalotto?

Lycalotto will ask you to provide the information within 30 days of receipt of the request sent by email. If you unfortunately do not provide the necessary affordability evidence, we are legally obliged to temporarily suspend your account following the UK Gambling Commission requirements. This means, that you will not be able to access your Lycalotto, execute any deposits nor request withdrawals, till you provide the necessary information to successfully complete the affordability check. Rest assured, that upon receipt of the affordability evidence, your account will be immediately reopen.
